My name is Bob and I love to think. I have been studying philosophy for about 10 years now and loving the arts since childhood. After chipping away at the academic world while working and taking care of my family, I completed the philosophy program at California State University, Stanislaus and earned my Bachelors of Arts. I am interested in Ancient, Hellenistic, and existential philosophy because of the practicality they offer in dealing with life's journey. I believe many people get muddled in the more complex thinkers such as Hegel, Heidegger, and Derrida. The result is a misconception of what philosophy has to offer. Of course, this is only my opinion. This website is intended for students that want to learn more about philosophy, or those interested in my spiritual adventure through life.
